Services & Prices

Holly Clarke Animal Chiropractics offers services that are designed to help improve your animal's overall well-being. McTimoney is a whole-body treatment aimed at resolving dysfunction and improving balance in the animal's musculoskeletal system. It focuses on addressing misalignments and correcting them to optimise the function of the spine and pelvis.

1

History

A detailed patient history will be obtained, noting any previous issues, lifestyle and management, exercise regime and/or any specific concerns for the animal.

This allows Holly to fully understand your animal and any aspirations you may have.

2

Static/Dynamic

Conformation and musculature whilst the animal is standing, will be observed and assessed. The animal's gait in walk and trot, will be analysed.

Horses will be required to show a couple of steps of rein back and in small circles.

This will allow Holly to establish the animal's movement patterns, whilst identifying any areas of dysfunction or asymmetries.

3

Palpation

Holly will palpate through the neck, spine and pelvis to assess for any misalignments. This will also identify areas of muscle tension, spasming, lumps, bumps, heat or swelling.

This allows for further identification of restricted regions that could be causing dysfunction within the musculoskeletal system.

4

Treatment/Aftercare

Any misalignments are treated using the McTimoney chiropractic technique accompanied by soft tissue massage.

Post treatment, a specialised aftercare plan will be created for your animal to help improve any areas of weakness, and to prolong the treatment benefits.

Service fees

FULL PAYMENT is required on the day of treatment. Cash is payable at the time of appointment. Holly is also able to take card payments on the day as long as there is sufficient 4G signal at your yard or house.

This policy gives me the opportunity to fill the gap. Offering the slot to anyone waiting for appointments or to advertise the slot. Without sufficient notice of cancellation my time is wasted

Granted some circumstances are exceptional and cancellations are unavoidable. Therefore, I will at times waiver the cancellation fee policy but this is at my discretion.

Thank you for your understanding.
